The Sk8er Hat is knitted from the top down in stranded colourwork, beginning with a circular cast-on and crown shaping. Once the main section of the motif is done, the hat is turned inside out and a German short row is used to reverse the direction of the knitting for the brim. Finally, an i-cord bind-off is worked and secured to the inside, creating a clean and polished edge.
The kit includes the following colourways in the required quantities on British 4-Ply from Les Garçons. The pattern is not included; it is available in our shop or on Ravelry.
Colour A (1 skein, 100 g): “Meredith’s Grey”
Colour B (1 skein, 100 g): “Natural”
