Tegel Hat

Tegel Hat

The TEGEL HAT from our friend Jean-Philippe, at Atelier Clichē, borrows its name from the Swedish word “tegel,” meaning “brick.” This accessory is a tribute to strong geometric patterns and rich textures, evoking the sturdiness and warmth of a Nordic home. This hat is knitted flat with intarsia technique to create the colourblock. The crown is created with short rows, and the hat is closed using grafting in garter stitch. This hat is neither knitted from the bottom up nor from the top down, but rather sideways.

Tessellated Pullover/Vest

Tessellated Pullover/Vest

The Tessellated Pullover and the Tessellated Vest are Andrea Mowry's 2023 Rhinebeck designs. They feature a simple slipped-stitch pattern that depending on if you choose high or low contrast colors, it completely changes the look. The sweater and the vest are worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in the round until the divide for the yoke. The remainder is worked flat, and the shoulders are finished using a three-needle bind-off. If you are knitting the sweater, the sleeves are then picked up from the body and knit in the round down to the cuff.

Sari Nordlund

Sari Nordlund

We have put together some bundles for some of Sari Nordlund's patterns. Sari is a wonderful designer, and we love everything she creates. She lives by the sea in Finland. She’s a professional knitwear designer who also spends most of her free time knitting, despite vowing never again to touch needles and yarn after failed attempts at knitting in her childhood. Sari loves undyed wool, knitting cables, good quality coffee and cats, not necessarily in that order.
