Designed by Maxim Cyr, the Hudson sweater is a modern, top-down knit that combines seamless construction with a clean, tapered silhouette. This project uses two yarns held together (a DK weight and a lace-weight mohair) to create a plush, aran-weight gauge. The sweater features thoughtful design elements such as German short rows for back and sleeve cap shaping, gentle waist shaping for a contemporary fit, and elegant 1×1 twisted rib at the collar, hem, and cuffs.
The kit contains the following colourways in the required quantities on British DK from Les Garçons and Silk Mohair from Isager. The pattern is not included; it is available in our shop or on Ravelry.
Yarn A (3 to 8 skeins, 100 g, British DK): “Ray’s Branches”
Yarn B (4 to 9 balls, 25 g, Silk Mohair): “30”
Yarns A and B are held together throughout the pattern to create an aran-weight gauge.
