Goldstar is a yoked colourwork sweater worked seamlessly from the top down. German short rows are used to add length to the back of the sweater.

NEEDLES
❖ Main needles: circular, US 7 / 4.5 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge
❖ Ribbing needles: circular, US 5 / 3.75 mm, or 0.75 to 1 mm smaller than main needles

Double-pointed needles in the same two sizes for the sleeves and smaller circumferences, if you’re not using the magic-loop method

GAUGE
❖ 18 sts and 27 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round, blocked
❖ 18 sts and 23.5 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in stranded colourwork in the round, blocked
