The Weekender Crew, by designer Andrea Mowry, is a reimagined version of the now-classic The Weekender. The design keeps the same iconic details as the previous model—including the dropped shoulder, as well as the option to add pockets on either side of the front—, but added a few special touches, like a crew neck in place of the boat neck.
It is worked seamlessly from the bottom up, except for a small seam at the underarms. Starting with a split hem, the body is joined in the round and worked that way until the divide for the sleeves. The remainder is worked flat; the shoulders are finished with an exposed seam created using the three-needle bind-off method.
The kit contains the following colourways in the required quantities on British DK from Les Garçons. The pattern is not included; it is available on Ravelry.
Main colour (4 to 9 skeins, 100 g): “Natural”
