Kits

Because we know shopping online for yarn without the ability to touch and mix and match the yarn can be difficult, we have curated kits for you. Shop this collection to find kits for our or other designers' patterns in the required quantities.

Tessellated Pullover/Vest

Tessellated Pullover/Vest

The Tessellated Pullover and the Tessellated Vest are Andrea Mowry's 2023 Rhinebeck designs. They feature a simple slipped-stitch pattern that depending on if you choose high or low contrast colors, it completely changes the look. The sweater and the vest are worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in the round until the divide for the yoke. The remainder is worked flat, and the shoulders are finished using a three-needle bind-off. If you are knitting the sweater, the sleeves are then picked up from the body and knit in the round down to the cuff.

Aleks Byrd

Aleks Byrd

Our friend Aleks Byrd is a knitwear designer and illustrator. When it comes to designing and illustrating knitwear, Aleks loves to work with many different strands. With a heritage tied to three countries – USA, Estonia and Canada – she has plenty of ideas and inspiration running through her, but tends to play with her Estonian roots in particular, weaving it into new patterns in order to produce modern and unique designs with a connection to the past.

German short rows are used to add length to the back of the sweater. As the yoke includes several three-colour rounds and long floats, it could be considered as an intermediate to advanced pattern.

Sari Nordlund

Sari Nordlund

We have put together some bundles for some of Sari Nordlund's patterns. Sari is a wonderful designer, and we love everything she creates. She lives by the sea in Finland. She’s a professional knitwear designer who also spends most of her free time knitting, despite vowing never again to touch needles and yarn after failed attempts at knitting in her childhood. Sari loves undyed wool, knitting cables, good quality coffee and cats, not necessarily in that order.
