The Tegel hat from our friend Jean-Philippe, at Atelier Clichē, borrows its name from the Swedish word “tegel,” meaning “brick.” This accessory is a tribute to strong geometric patterns and rich textures, evoking the sturdiness and warmth of a nordic home. This hat is knitted flat with intarsia technique to create the colourblock. The crown is created with short rows, and the hat is closed using grafting in garter stitch. This hat is neither knitted from the bottom up nor from the top down, but rather sideways.
The kit includes the following colourways in the required quantities on BFL Aran from Les Garçons. The pattern is not included; it is available on Ravelry.
