Gardener's Scarf (by Maxim Cyr)

$9.00

This pattern is available in English and in French as a digital download.

The Gardener’s Scarf is a great way to showcase the beauty of your favourite colour-changing yarn, like a Dyed in the Wool skein from Spincyle Yarns, in a fresh and unexpected way. The trellis stitch is well suited for making the most of your skein: a small yardage goes a long way.

The design is a simple stockinette rectangle with ribbing at both ends. The magic happens with your contrasting yarn: you will slip it in front of the work and catch that float a few rows later to knit it into your fabric, creating a striking effect that resembles a garden trellis.
