When I was looking for a name for this “dirty” lilac, Rose-Anne—my studio helper!—told me the colour reminded her of the one she used for her first ever knit. I didn’t look any further!
The Dyed by Delz Yak Sock base is a blend of 20% yak fibres with 70% superwash merino wool and 10% nylon. The raw fibre base colour is not white or ecru, as other undyed yarns are. The dark yak fibre lends depth to the base and the dyed colour.

All yarns are dyed in a smoke-free environment.
We rinse and wash your yarns abundantly, but dark or saturated might bleed a little. Please wash your knits in cold water, with mild soap.
We take great care when photographing our yarns and retouching images to represent their colour accurately. We calibrate all photos in Lightroom using a Retina screen. Please remember, however, that colours may vary from one monitor to another.
